Amazing Four days Trip to "Dumbara" Mountain Range
In a Sunny day of early February 2015 , early in the morning, a group of 11 members were heading to "Dumbara" Mountain range for seeking an adventure hike. Our first day destination was "Madulkelle" mountain in Hunasgiriya area. The road condition was terrible for our vehicle (a Van ). The best way to get there is first finding the way to "Madulkelle Tea & Eco Lodge". Then there is a way to reach the top of the mountain from there.Colombo > Kandy > Katugasthota >Madawala > Panwila > Madulkelle >Madulkele-Habaragala Road (turn left, before Madulkele Post Office)
Bad directing of local people were wasted so much valuable time on our journey. So we had to camp before we reach our original destination of "Hathale Mini World's End". Rain was started troubling us badly. So we decided to camp at a tea collecting hut near a pond.
Our next day morning seemed like blessed. But only at the beginning. After having our breakfast we headed to hunt some marvelous waterfalls. Rain was continuously bothering us. So we were only lucky to see three wonderful waterfalls. First one called "Saari ella". We had our lunch and cool freezing bath at the Saari ella.
Next One was "Jodu Ella" (Twin Waterfall).
The third destination was "Huluganga Ella".
Then in the evening we reached to the place where we stayed at night. It was a place by the road to "Meemure village" and very close to "Corbets Gap" view point. Next day morning was a disaster. It was raining whole day. But even in the rain we went to Meemure village. The Road was really bad for our vehicle. We could manage to get some good shots along the way.
On the next day we went to Hnnasgiriya Mini World's End on our way back to Colombo.
